FRIEND

listen to me well, maybe you'll realize
how much friendship does to hold your stand
coz you've been held by a chain of trust
keeping you far away from the sorrow gorge

sometime you're sad, your feet feels so heavy
you try to walk, you drop on your knees
crying, sadness remains on your heart
everybody's gone, and you're alone

but when you open your eyes, what do you see?
you saw their faces in front of your eyes
even when they're not around, you feel their presence
keeping you awake, hold you not to faint

you hear their voice, it sounds so encouragious
waking you up from your unconsciousness
even it looks not too clear, you know who's it
it's your friends, somebody you trust and loyal to

even if your feet feels so heavy, you try to crawl
if your hands feel numb, you kneel with your knee
their hands hold you up, standing you up
coz that's what friends use for, stand you up when you can't

that is you, my friend, what i like from you
your smile is my smile, my heart cried when you cried
your happiness is my happiness, whatever it is
